The session lays out a full modernization flow from the operational point of view: what triggers modernization, how planning is structured, how rollout is executed, and how acceptance and validation are done.

Upgrade drivers are framed in real terms, such as traffic growth, coverage gaps, performance complaints, new feature rollouts, equipment lifecycle, and efficiency targets. Hence, modernization stops feeling like a “vendor thing” and becomes a clear engineering process.

Planning coverage includes typical checks and decisions: readiness, dependency mapping, sequencing of activities, risk areas, and how validation is prepared before changes go live.
