About the event
The session simplifies network design into understandable decision logic instead of heavy theory.
Coverage vs capacity is explained as the core trade-off that drives most planning actions, including why some areas need densification while others need coverage extension.
Site and sector basics are introduced with real-world intent: what sectors do, what antenna direction and tilt concepts mean, and how height and environment shape the footprint of a cell.
Common constraints are discussed because they decide what gets built: terrain and clutter, zoning and permitting, power and backhaul availability, safety requirements, and budget realities.
The session also covers how planning decisions connect to outcomes: why “strong signal” is not the same as “good experience,” why interference and congestion can exist even with coverage, and why design is always a set of trade-offs.
This gives beginners a strong foundation to understand design conversations and prepare for planning and project roles.
