Failure is An Opportunity for Self-Reinvention.
In his book The Ego is the Enemy, Ryan Holiday wrote that we are always moving between three stages of life: aspiration, success, and failure.
We aspire until we succeed.
We are successful until we fail.
And we will continue to be failures until we pick ourselves up and begin aspiring again.
I'm not making light of failure.
Big failures hurt us, our businesses, our relationships, and our world in many ways.
Some failures are more difficult to accept than others, but others say failures can lead to more opportunities.
It's a choice point every time we "fail."
The question is, how will you respond?
Can anything positive come from your mistakes?
Failure is an opportunity for self-reinvention.
It is a new opportunity to pilot-test new ideas and ventures and welcome mistakes and failures that show up.
Do not become trapped in the mode of failure. Aspire again.
Re-invent yourself and succeed.
Aspire. Fail. Succeed. The endless loop continues.
In the end, only the best version of yourself will prevail.
